I am Spiritual
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16 KJV
One day, Jesus told me to say to the Devil, I am spiritual. I do not remember what I was battling but I needed help, because I felt like my prayer was not doing anything to the kingdom of the the wicked. As soon as I said this statement, I am spiritual. This did damage to the evil spirits affecting me because something broke off of me.
My understanding of I am spiritual is that I no longer operate by myself but with Jesus guiding me in every area of my life. We must let him do this by faith. We also have his angels, our family members in heaven and even our pets that have passed away. The pets I believe only help protect us.
As a child of Jesus, it is important to operate now on earth in the spirit with Jesus. As impossible as it sounds it is possible for those who are born-again still alive on earth. The reason is God is a Spirit and all must worship him in the spirit. We have the ability to do that through Jesus name. A child of Jesus no longer has to operate only in the flesh, but in his Spirit. As a saved Christian one must operate in these areas in the Spirit:
1.) Live in the Spirit: If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Galatians 5:25 KJV
2.) Live by the Fruit of the Spirit: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. Galatians 5:22-24 KJV

Your Flesh and Spirit Fight Against each Other

Born Agsin Christians are not in the Flesh

What is the Lusts of the Flesh
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 1 John 2:16 KJV
