Insomnia to Sweet Sleep

I was so tired I said, Lord, I am so tired but I want to fast. I try to fast as much as possible even sometimes everyday. The more I fast, the more I can draw closer to Jesus and live in the Spirit more than live in the flesh. This particular month, I was planning to fast and pray everyday. I did not know if it was acceptable to Jesus to fall asleep when one is fasting for him. I wanted to regain my strength while sleeping for a bit then get up and keep fasting.
I Slept on Jesus’ Lap
This exhausting day, the Lord showed up in the bedroom. He was sitting on the place where I sleep. He told me, laid down on my lap and rest. I felt so special! As I laid on Jesus’ lap, I felt a tear gush out of my eyes. I felt him comforting me, I felt his love for me, just as a real father feels for his little girl. I felt safe. As I was falling asleep quickly, Jesus put his hand over my head lightly caressing my hair. I fell fast asleep.
Sweet Sleep
I knew I was sleeping and my sleep had a sweet taste like candy. i do not remember my dream but I was dreaming something beautiful. When I woke up my taste buds felt like I had tasted real candy. Not only did I fall asleep here on earth, I was feeling heaven when I was asleep. Especially, because Jesus was with me in the bedroom. Some people do not believe that born-again Christians have access to heaven now before dieing. The Holy Spirit is the one that makes it possible.
Help Create a Cozy Healthy Sleep
They say if you do not sleep that you can get an autoimmune disorder. Some say you can actually die too. Sleep is very important for our health and existence. Help create a healthy-cozy sleep:
Brush your teeth so that the bacteria in your mouth will not cause health problems when you go to sleep.
Drink warm-lemon water to detox your mouth, body, and to restore your blood pH balance to be alkaline. It may even help with a toothache.
Do not eat salty food so that you will not get High Blood Pressure while you are sleeping.
Do not eat too much sugar at night so that you will not have crazy fluctuations in your sugar level. Especially, in the morning when you wake up.
Tell yourself: STOP THINKING GO TO SLEEP!
Find something that you find very cozy and hold it against your face.
Wear an eye mask to block light and keep your eyes moist if you sleep by a fan or an air conditioner.
Cover your head when it is cold so that you will not wake up from being cold or a from a headache.
Soak your feet in epsom salt. It has magnesium which helps relax you.
Wear socks to bed to keep you warm in cold weather, so you will not wake up with a cramp because of the cold.
Do not sleep in front of your air conditioner or fan, but sleep around them. Sleeping right in front of this electronics far or near may cause allergies, cause dry eyes, dry mouth, or dry or sore throat.
If you drool in your sleep, stop eating too much starchy food before bedtime. Dust off and/or vacuume your bed and sleeping area because dirt may also make your drool.
Take vitamin B complex with food because taking this without food will make you feel queasy. The B complex relaxes your nerves and warms your body in the winter.
Eat small-healthy meals two hours before you are getting ready to sleep.
Eat low histamine foods.
Hear Christian music to relax you.
Stop using your cell phone, computer, ext. at least an hour before you go to sleep.
Take a bottle of alkaline water and a bottle of Powerade with you to the bedroom. Sip both of this randomly when you wake up from sleep from leg cramps or other reasons. You may not only have a good sleep if you follow all this below before you go to sleep, but you may be healthy when you wake up. You are hydrated not dehydrated, your blood is in alkaline state not acidic (drinking a small bottle of alkaline water or lemon water). Lemon water helps digestion too. Electrolytes help constipation. Constipation may be the cause for excess gas (drink sips of Powerade not all of it while trying to sleep). Drinking the Powerade all at once is better when one is working out.
To keep mites, spider, roaches, and other insects away, spray white-distilled vinegar (food grade) lightly around your area and around you.
If your body itches while sleeping, get up and wash off area with warm water using a gentle baby soap. Ingredients of baking soda and aloe vera help. Then spray (add to spray bottle) distill-white vinegar (food grade) randomly on the area that itches. Do not rinse off the vinegar unless you have too.
Some people take melatonin to help them sleep. I do not trust it much.
